I've been to Nail Art several times and I enjoy the business. The people are friendly, although they don't speak English well. My nails always look good, the pedicure feels wonderful, very relaxing. I would recommend getting your nails done at Nail Art.
I went to Nail Art today against my better judgement to use a gift certificate I had. Never again. All I wanted was a manicure and gel polish. The color she put on my nails wasn't anywhere in the near vicinity of the one I picked out. And when I showed the lady that she said, "oh sorry. That will be $27." There are bubbles in my polish, it is uneven and clumpy around where my cuticles are, the edges of my nails are jagged and I actually had to file them when I got home, a quarter of two of nails are completely missing polish and I have the clear top coat gel over the sides of my nails on to my skin on every nail but one. I'm very unhappy with it and I expressed it at the salon and still even had to pay to make up for what the gift certificate didn't cover. And I'm not an jerk and still tipped her for some reason. But just don't go to Nail Art. Don't waste your money.
The lady spent a lot of time on my nails which I appreciated. I got the shellac and got them done on a Thursday. Unfortunately by Saturday they were chipping and peeling around the edges. Today (Monday) I soaked the shellac off and it came off extremely easy. I think it was just a bad product they used. I was pretty bummed. All the other shellac I've ever had done lasted at least 2 weeks.
This was the most disgusting and uncomfortable manicure I've ever had. The place is dirty and gross. The man who did my manicure (basic clear shellac manicure). He handled my hands roughly and seemed very irritated that he was there at all. He sighed and groaned the whole time and barely spoke a word to me other than order to 'sit here'. He cut too close on the cuticles and my hands are sore the next day. When he massaged my hands and arms he purposely cracked my knuckes and wrists and today my one thumb feels funny. He did not file the nails evenly. Some are round, some square. He was wearing old dirty clothes and while my nails were drying he proceeded to clip his own nails and let the cippings fall on the floor and desk. It was a disgusting experience.
Lily is the only person I would go to and she's amazing.
