Very nice
Nice area for a short hike. Trails take 30-40 min, and you can't get too lost. There is an offshoot on the northwest side of the trail that takes you to the biological station (you'll see the road and/or no trespassing signs if you end up there; best way to get back on track is just turn around.) We went at the end of February and it was fairly mucky, but you can usually walk on the grass on the edges of the trail. There were also bridging materials placed over the muddiest/dampest areas. Nice views of the lake, and very peaceful (at least in February.)
